Personal Training

I’ve been involved with fitness since I was a teenager.  I was lucky to know what I want to do at an early age so out of high school I decided to study Exercise Science. After graduating from Portland State in 2011 with a degree in Kinesiology I became a ACSM Certified Personal Trainer. While attending college I started doing fitness modeling for Nike, Adidas, became a brand ambassador for Bowflex and Panthera, and had an acting role on Portlandia as a Personal Trainer.

My style of training focuses on combinations of weight training, strength training & conditioning, plyometrics, endurance training, and circuit training. I personalize all of my training programs to fit each individual’s fitness level and offer nutritional guidance that leads to a long-lasting lifestyle transformation. 

With my help, we will make positive changes in your life and accomplish your goals.  I work with all types of clients of any age and skill level and am motivated each day by helping others transform their bodies. My training regimen is personalized to you based on your current fitness level and created to help you achieve your desired goal.

“I started training with Alex back in March 2013 for a competition. I met with him for a couple of minutes told him my goals and that we had 11 weeks to get competition ready. Completely blown away that in that few minutes he remembered me and built me a program specific to my goals. His style of training is simply the best.
